Loot System

This applies to all our 25-men raids:

General rules: you can not roll if you joined the raid while/after fighting the boss or were afk; you also don´t get points;


1) you get points for every boss you kill, you get 1 more if you stay until the raid is disbanded by the raid leader or he says that the raid is over;

2) you lose points if you don´t behave according to our Code of Conduct, do funrolls while looting, tell ppl what to do in a smart ass way, swear, yell at ppl, blame them, call them fail, noob etc;
Again, I don´t have to explain every single case here, if you don´t know how to behave, your problem;

3) all your points are added to your main raiding toon. There is a list in the forum where everyone should put his main toon with spec (and all alts);
you can use all points you earned on your main, you can only use 50 % of them on your alt;
in case you want to change your mainspec or main toon, you can do so max. once a month and have to tell so in forum;

4) points can only be used in our 25-men raids;

5) points can only be used while we are on master looter (= in boss fights);

6) there is no point cap;

7) if you want to use points for an item, you say so before rolling in raid-chat;

if you lose the roll (even with points added to it), you don´t lose any points;

9) if you win the roll and said you use points before, you lose the points you needed to win against the 2nd highest roller or 50 % of all points you had, no matter if you needed any points to win the roll or not
(for alts you only lose 50 % of the points you are able to use for alts -> so you lose 50 % of 50 % of your points :-D) - whichever number is higher;


Example: if someone rolled 50, and you decide to use your points, you say so before rolling and let´s say you roll 30; since you (i.e.) have 35 Earned Points, you win the item with your roll of 65 (30 rolled + 35 EP);
you needed 21 points to win against the other one rolling; 50 % of all the points you had before the roll would be 18 (35/2 = 17,5 -> 18); 21 is the higher number, so you lose 21 points and still have 14 left;

1st Addition to 1): T4-raid-bosses (like Gruul) give 1 point, T5-raid-bosses 2 points, T6-raid-bosses 3 points;
2nd Addition to 1): please sign for raids a decent time before the invites start (not 5 mins before);
if you can´t come, please change your status in the raid manager and write there or here that you can´t come; if you don´t, you might lose points;
3rd Addition to 1): you get 2 points for being ready and prepared in time;

You don´t have to read and/or understand this, but this will be used and is not discussed during raids.
Also there are no questions about how many points you have left or how the system works.

2nd Addition to 1) has been updated to a less harsh form. Might change back if it doesn´t work tho .
