Guardians of fate code of conduct:

First of – GoF has always been an open guild, we've accepted anyone and everyone, with no prejudice and not concerned about their previous guild history. We give everyone a fresh start. You can use it to your gain, or waste it down the sewer and never be invited to the guild again.
In the spirit of recent events, we've decided we need more, not rules, more guidelines to how a person should behave in raids and in guild in general. This isn't kinder garden, and you won't be restricted to basically anything, but as it's not a kinder garden – it's expected of you not to behave like a child.

A basic guideline should help those who are not sure what that means:
-First and foremost – you're are EXPECTED to obey the orders of your officers and raid leaders during a raid... ANYTHING you've got to say you can do so BEFORE and AFTER the raid, using guild chat or forum.
-Officers are people who are there in the front rows to help out and give advice to those who need it. As such – if you find yourself in need – and no officer will help you, you are to complain to guild master, and him along with other officers will discuss the behavior of said officer and conclude if he/she has made a mistake. You're not here to be insulted by anyone – no matter the guild rank. But also keep in mind Officers are not your personal slaves – they're also players who got their own stuff to do in-game. So don't piss of and start hating God and everything that lives because an officer didn't want to run your through DM this one time... Be reasonable
-Trading between guild members is NOT encouraged... Bidding against a guild member is NOT encouraged. It's common sense – if you don't understand it, you have no idea what communism is and should probably play tetris...

NO QUESTIONS about loot system OF ANY KIND are allowed during the raid.
The table with the loot order will be posted visible on our site. You will be able to check your position there.
This type of looting might take more time (slightly, especially in the start) so you're encouraged to be patient and sustain yourself of any comments.

Players from other guilds are allowed to attend our raids, and those who want to do that, will be given access to our raid planner where they can sign in. Also - keep in mind that if you're signed in raid planner, it doesn't mean you'll actually be picked for the raid, it just tells us that you're 100% sure and available for the raid you signed up for. If you're what the raid needs - then you'll be picked. Where you DO get advantage - is if someone with similar gear/class wants to go, but hasn't signed up in the raid planner - you get to go and he/she will learn to sign up next time Wink

Looting

We'll be using a VERY simple loot system. You get 2 points for every boss you kill, you get 1 more if you stay until the raid is disbanded by the raid leader. You add those to your roll when you choose to. You lose the points you needed to win or at least half of your total points, whichever is higher. There is NO point cap.

IMPORTANT: You can only roll if you're withing 50 points of the person with the highest amount of points (Look examples). In case you get bored, and what to change your main raiding toon – you'll have to notify Herrsy, Leela or myself about it. You won't be able to this very often – so be carefull.
To people who are using their alts... All your points will be added to ONE toon, when you want to use them on your alt – you get to use 50% of them.

Example - if someone rolled 50, and you decide to use your points, you say so before rolling and let's say you rolled 30. BUT - since you (i.e.) have 35 Earned Points, you use 21 and deduct those from your total of 35, you'll end up winning the item and with 14 points left.
Or another example - same idea, you rolled 45, you'll loose 35/2=18 (yes it's 18 ^^) and not only 6, since, theoretically, if you had just a bit more luck, you could be wining ever item you wanted, and still having a lot of points - it would be a bit OP.
Now, let's make it a bit spicy – let's say Bob has 500 points, Bob does a lot of raids, but his item simply doesn't drop... Jeebus just started raiding some time ago (weather he came from another guild, or was simply not good enough – doesn't matter) and he has 200 points. Werther has been raiding casually, and has 460 points. They're all hunters. Some bow drops. And they all want it. Now... Jeebus CAN'T roll, since Bob has the highest points, and want's the item, and Jeebus isn't withing 50 points of Bob. Werther CAN roll, since he IS within 50 points of Bob.
Werther rolls 90 and has a total of 550 roll, Bob rolls 60 and has a total of 560. Bob WINS. Yay!
And Bob looses 250 points. Simple, ain't it?

This isn't required of you to know or understand, but if you do – it's for your benefit, and your well-informness. Raid leader and officers will take care of this. Thus – looting may be a bit slower, but it should be more efficient.

As for disobeying the code of conduct, which would be agreed upon by officers - you'll be receiving negative points as follows:
- -2 (minus two) for funrolling, this is done due to the fact that there's a loot system involved - and Raid Leaders can't keep track of who is rolling for real and who is not.
- -5 (minus five) for not respecting the Code of Conduct in general. Stuff I mentioned above in the second paragraph of this text.

Be nice, behave, and listen to raid leaders - you should do ok...
